About London, OH - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

London, Ohio is the county seat of Madison County. It is located about 25 miles southwest of Columbus, and as of 2010, about 9,900 people resided here. Originally established in 1811, the community grew slowly, and its eventual population increase was due to residents branching out from larger cities. London is primarily served by London City School District, although there is also a private school here run by St. Patrick’s Church. It is a great place to raise a family, especially for those who wish to escape the busy lifestyle of the city in favor of a more rural community.

Although it is a small community, there are several interesting places to visit in London. Outdoor recreation is plentiful at destinations like Little Darby State Scenic River Preserve and Madison Lake State Park. Visitors can learn more about the history of the area at the Madison County Historical Society Museum, and locals may like to spend time on the weekend at Madison Lanes or London State Theatre. There are also several delicious restaurants available in London, including La Carreta Mexican Restaurant, Ronetti’s Pizza, or Tony’s Bar and Grille.

London is located in an area bordered by humid continental and humid subtropical climate zones. Summers here are warm and muggy. Average high temperatures in July reach 84 degrees Fahrenheit, and this is also the rainiest month of the year. To combat humidity indoors and to keep household temperatures cool, most residents invest in central air conditioning, which can provide widespread and efficient cooling to an entire space.

Winters here are cold but fairly dry. It is far enough southwest from the Great Lakes to avoid lake effect snow, and the region only receives about 26 totals inches per year. Temperatures are cold, and daily highs only average in the high-30s during January and February. During this time of the year, locals rely heavily on their gas or electric furnaces, and periodic maintenance with a licensed HVAC technician will ensure their systems are running at optimal efficiency.
